Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data TerraRoam (“we”) collects when you use this website and buy an eSIM, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have. It is written to comply with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), the EU/UK GDPR and similar laws.
What we collect

We do not collect passport or ID documents. Where a destination legally requires registration, it is performed by the local operator under its own policy and you will be told before purchase.
Legal bases
Performance of the contract with you (delivering the Plan and support), compliance with legal obligations (tax and accounting records, lawful requests), and our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and improving it. Marketing email is sent only with your consent and every message has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share data with
- eSIM platform and mobile network partners that issue the profile and provide connectivity in the destination. They receive the order reference and the technical data needed to provision and operate the eSIM.
- Payment providers (for example Stripe and local Brazilian acquirers) that process your payment under their own privacy policies.
- Email delivery and hosting providers that run our infrastructure under data processing agreements.
- Authorities where required by law.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers. Some partners are located outside your country; transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Cookies
The site works without tracking cookies. We use local storage only to remember your language and, if you use the web app, your orders on this device. If we add analytics, it will be cookieless and aggregated, and this policy will be updated.
Retention
Order and payment records are kept for the period required by tax law (typically five to ten years). Support conversations are kept for two years. eSIM technical data is kept for the life of the profile plus 12 months for dispute resolution. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To exercise a right, email support@terraroamer.com from the address used at checkout; we answer within 15 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).
Security
Traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Payment data is handled entirely by the payment provider. Access to order data is restricted to staff who need it for support and fulfilment, and is logged.
Children
The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
